Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Middle Education: Mathematics (6-8), Licensure
The B.Ed. in Middle Education (6-8) is designed for individuals who do not have an initial teaching license. This is the perfect program for individuals interested in earning a license in Middle Grades Mathematics Education.
Field experience requirements will be completed early and often in the field of special education and culminate in a 16-week student teaching semester. Licensure in the state of Virginia requires that you meet all necessary criteria.
Upon successful completion of Liberty University’s Virginia state-approved B.Ed. program, you may apply for your teaching license in another state through reciprocity, which may or may not result in additional requirements based on your state’s Department of Education regulations. For state approval information, visit Liberty.edu/StateApprovals.
The School of Education is approved through the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) through the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). This program is designed to support edTPA.
