Residential Sport Management: Tourism Program
Get started in the tourism and hospitality industry with a Master of Science in Sport Management: Tourism degree.
You will be introduced to key issues in hospitality, tourism, and sport event management while preparing for leadership roles in the tourism and hospitality industry. Your classes will explore current industry challenges, strategic marketing, and the planning of sport and tourism events, with emphasis on the economic, social, and environmental impacts on communities and stakeholders.
Through practical, real-world experiences and industry partnerships, you can gain hands-on exposure to managing events, tourism, lodging, and hospitality operations. An applied internship further equips graduates with the skills and experiences needed to pursue careers in diverse aspects of hospitality and tourism.
The non-thesis/internship track gives you the opportunity to gain experience in the hospitality industry and build a professional network. Students who opt for the thesis track are looking to continue their education with a doctoral degree. The thesis can serve as the initial step toward the development of an individual research agenda.
Learn from experienced professors who grounded in their faith and are committed to teaching you from a Christian worldview.
This degree is offered through the Hospitality & Sport Management Department.
