Micah Pick
Biography
Micah Pick serves as Accompanist for the Department of Theatre and Dance at Liberty University. In this role, he accompanies students in musical theatre and vocal technique classes, jury performances, cabarets, showcase performances, and auditions. He has also served as music director for Bloodroot, Emma, and My Fair Lady.
As a composer, Pick’s original works have been presented at the Splice Institute, the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival, the Jacksonville Electroacoustic Music Festival, and the University of Virginia’s McIntire Department of Music Telemetry Concert Series. His original music has been released by Audiobulb Records, ExoPAC Recordings, and Flag Day Recordings.
In addition to his work with the Department of Theatre Arts, Pick serves as an Adjunct Professor of Music for Liberty University Online, where he teaches Applied Piano lessons and Music Theory courses.
