The Green Hall Art Gallery offers students and members of the local community the opportunity to experience the beauty and diversity of art. Each year, the gallery rotates through a series of exhibits featuring student work and pieces from its collection.

Life of Christ Exhibit
This 21-piece collection of paintings is located in the Alumni Ballroom on the 3rd floor of the Montview Student Union.
Now in Liberty’s permanent collection, the Life of Christ art was donated in honor of Dr. Troy L. Day and in memory of the late Alton H. Thigpen.

If you enjoy hands-on learning, traditional craft, and timeless keepsakes, then ARTS334/534 is for you! Welcome to Jewelry Studio II, where both Graduate and Undergraduate students come together to work on creating unique and personalized jewelry pieces. From enamel pendants to intricate beading, every single part of the jewelry created in this class is hand-made (and there may be a little fire involved). Professor Harman is an expert in the field of jewelry making and is able to share her expertise in this fun and unique course!

Hello from ARTS114, a class many of you are familiar with, 3D Foundations! In this class, you learn all the basics for 3D art. This course focuses on brainstorming, the creative process, and developing strong 3D art practices early. From wire sculptures to cardboard robots, there is never a dull moment in 3D Foundations!

Welcome to ARTS401/501, Character Design! This is a fun class full of collaboration, brainstorming, and lots and lots of illustrating. In Professor Wilson’s class, you spend the entire semester world building and creating three unique characters for your world. In this course, you can find both Graduate and Undergraduate students working together to critique and inspire each other’s stories, worlds, and illustrations. By using our top-of-the-line Cintiq Lab, students are able to learn the process and programs that are the Industry Standard for Illustration and Character Design.
