Biography
Stacy R. Cannon serves as Chair and a full-time Professor at Liberty University. She began her career in Graphic Design and has specialized in this area with a focus on Print and Illustration. She has since worked in Advertising Operations, Freelance Design, and Co-owned and operated Old Fashioned Clothing Company. After several years, Professor Cannon transitioned into Graphic Design education and departmental leadership roles.
Stacy has taught design workshops, assisted with curriculum development for both the B.F.A and M.F.A degrees, has served in multiple administrative capacities ranging from LUO Program Liaison to Assessment Coordinator for SADA, and is now the Chair of the Studio & Digital Arts Department. Additionally, she has presented at several conferences on topics related to design pedagogy including the AIGA Design Educators Conference in Summer of 2016 at Bowling Green State University.
