The meetings are over, calls have been made, passports ready, and packing all done--months of anticipation culminated in a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. For many, standing at the feet of the Eiffel Tower in France or wandering the passages of Windsor Castle in England is a lifelong dream. Most have considered traveling abroad, but the reality of planning, financing, and facilitating a trip to a foreign country could be personified as a 14 and half foot dragon made of 2,672 weapons of medieval war. Was that oddly specific? Well, that beast was just one of the many amazing sights seen by our students on our most recent study abroad trip.
Seven students and two professors from the School of Visual & Performing Arts jumped across the pond to explore London and Paris for seven days. Averaging ten miles of walking a day, students tore through the streets, taking in the sights, sounds, and snails of the city. Students explored historic sights, marveled at the greatest museums in the world, and devoured local cuisine.
