International Baccalaureate

Liberty University may accept HL and SL-level International Baccalaureate courses. Most HL-level courses result in six hours of direct and/ or elective credit, and most SL-level courses result in three hours of elective credit.  A minimum score of 5 must be earned for credit to transfer.

If you have taken a course that is not listed and meet the score qualifications, please email undergradtransfer@liberty.edu to see if the exam is projected to transfer.

If there is a course you’d like to take and do not see an equivalency for, please submit a Future Course Evaluation (FCE) through the Transfer Suite.

To have your exams reviewed for transfer credit, please request an official transcript from IBO and have it sent to:
