While a high school choral teacher, Dr. Müller’s choirs won numerous local, regional, and national awards, including Sweepstakes at UIL Choir Contest (Texas) and Best in Show at several festivals. He has served as an adjudicator and clinician for contests and choirs around the country. He is particularly proud of his former students as they continue their studies and enjoy academic and professional success in many different fields. He continues to share his love for choral music with the choirs under his direction at Liberty. They can frequently be seen performing around the campus and community.
Dr. Müller is an active member of NATS, ACDA and NAfME and encourages his students to join him in these professional organizations. He has recently begun to research and write in the area of music teacher evaluation which has opened doors for regional and national presentations.
