Paul Randlett
Biography
Dr. Randlett, whose passion for training the next generation of worship leaders led him to the field of higher education in 2007, is recognized as a skilled worship leader, choral director, and award-winning educator. He has led worship programs for much of the past 30 years in churches both small and large from Virginia to Florida and Tennessee. He coordinated and led worship for the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia Annual Meeting on a number of occasions and has been a featured soloist with the Mass Choir at the Southern Baptist National Convention. Dr. Randlett brings extensive experience directing vocal and instrumental ensembles of all sizes to bear on his teaching.
Much of his time spent in higher education has been at Liberty University. However, in addition to serving as Chair of the Department of Music and Worship at Liberty, he was called to serve as Associate Professor and Director of the Center for Worship at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, where he helped revise and revitalize the worship training program. Upon returning to Liberty, he was asked to produce the Annual Night of Worship while helping to coordinate the Christmas On the Boulevard (Pops) concert. He is a regular speaker at conferences and is a choral clinician, focusing primarily in the area of leading volunteer church choirs.
