Nathan Street

Biography
An accomplished and experienced band, choir, and orchestra director, administrator, music pastor, author, speaker, presenter, researcher, research methodologist, professor, and dean, Dr. Street has spent a lifetime in education. In addition to his roles at Liberty University, he serves as the Dean of Online Learning and Graduate Education at Southern Wesleyan University. Dr. Street is a licensed educator, principal, and superintendent in South Carolina and North Carolina. Additionally, he has served for many years as a licensed minister in the Church of God (Cleveland, TN), holding roles such as music pastor in various churches. He is presently the music pastor at North Walhalla Church of God in Walhalla, SC. Dr. Street has presented at over 1,500 conferences, symposia, and professional development sessions worldwide. His research interests include leadership development, the intersection of faith and education, and the application of neuroscience. With over $10 million in awarded grants and numerous national awards, Dr. Street has successfully implemented innovative programs in schools, districts, and universities. He continues to serve as a frequent clinician and adjudicator for band, choir, and orchestra events. He is a member of the South Carolina Association of School Administrators, South Carolina Education Deans Association, Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression, The Heritage Foundation, and the Intercollegiate Studies Institute. Dr. Street has successfully led CAEP and NASM accreditation processes and serves as a certified reviewer for CAEP and Quality Matters. He resides in Seneca, SC, with his wife Shannon, son Nathan Oliver, and his cats, chickens, and bees.
