Biography

Dr. John Mohler serves as the Pastor of Worship and Operations for Patterson Park Church, Beavercreek, Ohio (suburban Dayton), a position he has held for 36 years. He is a former High School instrumental music educator who taught in Iowa and Ohio. John has served as a consultant, clinician, conductor, and speaker for numerous schools, churches, and conferences, including the Global Missions Celebration Orchestra (Brazil and Israel), OMEA, ACSI, Cedarville University, and Liberty University. Dr. Mohler earned a BME from Cedarville University, a MM from Wright State University, a MA in pastoral studies from Luther Rice Seminary, and a DWS (Doctor of Worship Studies) from Liberty University. He has been a member of the LUO faculty since the spring of 2019. John and his wife, LouAnn, have been married for 44 years and are the proud parents of two adult children and seven grandchildren.
