Eunice Nogueras, B.M., M.A., Ed.S.

Biography
Eunice Nogueras is originally from Bayamón, Puerto Rico. She is currently a middle school choral director. Ms. Nogueras is licensed to teach choral music, Spanish, and English as a second language in the state of Virginia. Additionally, she has earned her Educational Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision. Ms. Nogueras has performed locally with Opera on the James and received honors in the Opera on the James Young Artist Competition and was an apprentice with Opera Roanoke for the 2018-2020 season. She performed roles such as Adele in Die Fledermaus and was cast as the Queen of the Night in LUSOM Opera productions. Eunice has placed first in the state National Association of Teachers of Singers adjudications. She often serves as a clinician and is an adjudicator for the VCDA. Additionally, Ms. Nogueras is a board member of Central Virginia Community College. Ms. Nogueras is passionate about teaching, research, vocal pedagogy, opera, performing, and finding new and effective ways to teach her students innovatively. Ms. Nogueras has served as an adjunct professor since the spring of 2022 and is a doctoral candidate at Liberty University.
