Biography
Dr. Jones has been leading worship in various capacities and contexts for over two and a half decades. He has a heart for equipping local churches to effectively lead their people in biblically grounded worship. He continues to invest in raising up and equipping the next generation of worship leaders and pastors both in his local church and in partnership with academic institutions. One of his primary areas of interest is in the intersection of epistemology with worship theology and practice, and he loves to hear stories from churches where he’s helped equip their leadership to approach their worship services pedagogically with more intentionality in their liturgy.
Dr. Jones is an active member of ETS. His current focus in research and writing is in the intersection between the biblical foundation for liturgical elements and epistemology.
