Biography
Dr. Mindy Damon is a stylistically diverse performing artist and vocal researcher. Completing her undergraduate studies at Liberty University in Vocal Performance, Dr. Damon also holds the Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Winthrop University, the Educational Specialist degree and the Doctoral degrees in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University, as well as the Doctoral degree in Worship Studies Degree. She is currently pursuing an additional Master of Arts in Strategic Communications in Crisis Communication.
Dr. Damon has performed full-time for Walt Disney World’s Voices of Liberty, Sea World San Diego, in various musical theatre houses across the United States, with international performances in Canada, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Zimbabwe, and Martinique. Her original compositions in musical theatre have been featured at the Fringe Festival in Scotland, and her award-winning contemporary, worship, and children’s compositions have been performed across the United States. She has served as a worship leader in various churches throughout the last 30 years and was a featured soloist for Dr. David Jeremiah’s Turning Point Ministries based in San Diego, Calif.
In addition to performing and recording, Dr. Damon has served on the faculty at Southeastern University, Seminole State College, and San Diego Christian College.
