Biography
Michael Zamperini came to the Liberty University Office of Institutional Effectiveness in July 2019 after working as an officer in the U.S. Coast Guard. He also serves as an adjunct instructor in the School of Engineering. Michael is originally from western Pennsylvania and earned his B.S. in Marine Science at the Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT. After several operational Coast Guard assignments, he completed his M.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at the Pennsylvania State University. He then taught Mathematics and Operations Research courses at the Coast Guard Academy, as well as completed other leadership and policy assignments. He enjoys reading, hiking, fishing, and spending time with his family.
