Not only are we doing virtual Career Coaching appointments, and online resume critiques, but we are also hosting live virtual workshops with our Coaches, as well as some exciting employer hosted sessions designed to give you a real picture of what it’s like to work for these employers first hand.

Workshops

A foundational part of the career coaching experience at Liberty University is the many live, hands-on workshops. These virtual workshops are live sessions presented by one of our Coaches to help you understand more about specific topics, and improve your knowledge of some key career resources and tools.

With almost 20 workshops offered each week, students and alumni are able to find a variety of topics and times that can work for all schedules.

Finding a workshop and time that meets a specific needs is as easy as looking through Handshake under the Events menu tab and then RSVP to receive your virtual workshop link in an email.

Working remotely has become an increasingly popular and even a necessity for many industry professionals. Learning what it takes to be successful working from home is a real challenge. This virtual workshop will cover valuable resources and success strategies for managing this new environment.

Whether working remotely, transitioning to a work-from-home arrangement, or considering how to make an effective transition, take the time and listen to this workshop to help make the most of the work from home opportunity.

This workshop is a MUST. If you are struggling to create the perfect resume, need a refresher, or have never started one, this workshop will help uncover fundamental resume formatting and personal marketing strategies that help make the most of every job opportunity.

LinkedIn is the most popular professional cloud networking platform in the world. There is so much more to learn about LinkedIn then people realize, and it can be a game changer when it comes to job searching and networking.

This workshop is a great resource with easy to understand steps on, network building, creating connections, leveraging LinkedIn’s many features and more.

Federal Jobs:

There are currently over 2 million positions in the US federal government, and many have nothing to do with politics and policy. This workshop digs into the many career opportunities provided by the government and how to set yourself up for success when navigating their online process.

Interview Preparation:

This workshop will help make the most of this free resource with topics that build account profiles, improve job search results, and uncover internship experiences.

Since these virtual workshops are live, attendees have the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers and feedback from career coaches in real time.
