Biography
Dr. Michael Tricoli is an associate professor of nursing in the BSN program specializing in behavioral health and nursing leadership. Dr. Tricoli’s experience is in hospital administration, with several decades of hospital management, leading to full-time teaching at LU. He loves nursing and behavioral health, focusing on the practical application of therapeutic techniques and therapeutic communication.
Dr. Tricoli is passionate about preparing future nurses through the integration of evidence-based practice, therapeutic communication, clinical judgment, and compassionate patient care. His teaching emphasizes the practical application of behavioral health interventions and professional leadership principles across diverse healthcare settings. As an educator at Liberty University, he is committed to mentoring students in both professional excellence and Christian service, equipping graduates to positively impact patients, families, and communities throughout the world.
