Lisa Gazan, PhD, MSN-Ed, RN
Biography
Professor Lisa Gazan brings extensive experience in nursing education, home care, hospice case management, and program development. Dr. Gazan has been instrumental in launching multiple initiatives, including foundational accreditation work for a BSN program and the development of several nursing and health‑career courses, including the Cross-Cultural Nursing course.
Born and raised in Guatemala and having lived in East Africa for four years, she brings a strong global perspective to her teaching and research. Her doctoral work focused on Nursing Education with an emphasis on culturally sensitive nursing. Dr. Gazan is passionate about supporting the professional growth of future nurses and advancing culturally informed practice.
