Law School staff
Liberty University School of Law was featured in a December 12, 2010, article in the Lynchburg News & Advance. Writer Liz Barry made several campus visits and phone calls to interview Dean Mathew Staver and a number of students, faculty and alumni, to present an in-depth profile of the faith, mission, and achievements of the School of Law.
Opening with a description of the weekly prayer meeting before classes, the article tells how “law and faith converge” at the law school in a way nearly unique among law schools. Dean Staver said that the article was a great way to present the law school to the Central Virginia community.
“We are certainly pleased with the fair treatment the Lynchburg News article gave to Liberty University School of Law,” said Staver. “Our firmly-held faith and mission, along with the many accomplishments of the law school were presented in an objective manner. I am especially proud of the students, faculty and alumni who boldly and clearly described the Christian worldview that sets Liberty Law apart.”
