TeenPact offers weekly, dynamic, hands-on leadership schools for Christian students across the United States. TeenPact’s primary goal is to train youth in understanding the political process, the value of liberty, the importance of Christian faith in the public sphere, why faith is worth defending, ultimately to encourage students to engage in culture.
“My passion is to train a new generation of leaders in the rule of law from a Christian perspective to use law as a fulcrum for good. The students who are trained at TeenPact are energetic, bright, and eager to become world changers. It is exciting for the law school to be featured this season as an official sponsor,” added Mathew D. Staver, Dean of Liberty University School of Law.
For the past three years, Liberty University School of Law has hosted the TeenPact Judicial Program, an intense, weeklong program, instructing highly motivated and intelligent students interested in the study of law. Liberty law professors, as well as, attorneys of Liberty Counsel, volunteer to teach Criminal Law, Foundations of Law, Civil Procedure, Constitutional Law, Oral Advocacy and other legal topics. In addition, the week culminates with TeenPact students competing in a moot court competition where they argue a case before a panel of judges.
To strengthen the partnership with TeenPact, the law school also offers “The New Generation – TeenPact Scholarship” awarded annually to select students who successfully complete the TeenPact Judicial program, as well as meet the law school’s full admissions standards.
Adopting the mission statement “changing lives to change the world,” TeenPact was founded in 1994 and continues to expand TeenPact nationally offering classes in over 38 states.
