Liberty University School of Law will host the Lynchburg Chamber of Commerce’s Pancakes and Politics Breakfast on Thursday, March 31. This event, co-sponsored by the Liberty University School of Law and Liberty University Helms School of Government, will begin at 7:30 AM in the law school’s Mountain View Room. The public is invited to attend.

The bi-annual Pancakes and Politics breakfast is a policy-briefing breakfast bringing together local legislators and business leaders from the community to address public policy matters.  An initial breakfast is held in December prior to the commencement of the Virginia General Assembly Session with a spring breakfast held to recap the session and discuss the implication of public policy initiatives. Local legislators will give their thoughts on the session and any expected implications the region may face in 2012 as a result of new policy initiatives.  A brief Question & Answer session is scheduled to follow.

While the event is open to the public, tickets are required.  Tickets may be purchased in advance prior to Friday, March 25, by calling the Lynchburg Chamber of Commerce at 434-845-5966 or by emailing info@lynchburgchamber.org. General admission is $28 and $18 for chamber members.  Liberty University faculty, staff, and student tickets are available for $18.
