Liberty University, the world’s largest evangelical Christian university, and Liberty Counsel, a nonprofit litigation dedicated to advancing religious freedom, recently announced their co-sponsorship of this year’s Values Voter Summit along with the Family Research Council, AFA Action, American Values, and the Heritage Foundation, at the historic Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC, this fall. The summit is schedule for Friday, September 17, through Sunday, September 19.
Liberty University and Liberty Counsel are hosting a breakfast, Friday morning, which will feature a panel discussion on the Millennial Generation, as well as hosting an evening session the same day for youth.
Confirmed speakers at this year’s summit include Rep. Michele Bachmann, Bill Bennett, Gov. Mike Huckabee, Star Parker, Rep. Mike Pence, and many more. This year the Summit is pleased to welcome the stars of “19 Kids & Counting,” Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar.
In addition, this year’s Summit will feature a Gala Dinner honoring Don Wildmon of the American Family Association for his lifetime of dedication and commitment to moral American values. Topics to be discussed at the gala include: Protecting Marriage, Championing Life, Strengthening the Military, Limiting Government, Controlling Spending, and Defending Our Freedoms.
