Three Liberty University School of Law students joined several Liberty University Helms School of Government students on Fox News' On the Record with Greta Van Susteren in a three-part series focusing on the 2012 Presidential Election. The program, which aired the week of December 26 through 28, 2011, featured Alexandra Shubert, Daniel Schmid, and Matthew Clark, all members of the Liberty University School of Law Class of 2012. The special series, Road to 2012: America’s Future, highlights Van Susteren’s interviews with students from three Washington, D.C. area universities: George Washington University, Howard University, and Liberty University.
Van Susteren visited Liberty to film the segment as part of a multi-college tour on college students' perception of the most important issues confronting this year's presidential hopefuls. The interview was recorded on location at the Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre. On the Record with Greta Van Susteren is the nation's highest rated cable news program in 10 PM time slot.
"Our students did an excellent job representing Liberty University School of Law and the university as a whole," added Mathew Staver, Dean of Liberty University School of Law.
