Congressman Robert Aderholt (R-Alabama) just recently announced a new addition to his Washington office, Liberty Law alumna Mrs. Kristin Taylor Kilgore.
“Kristin is a very determined professional who I am excited to have on my staff,” said Congressman Aderholt. “She is a great fit for our office because she reflects the hard work ethic of the people of Alabama’s 4th Congressional District.”
Kristin Kilgore, formerly Kristin Taylor, joins the office as a Staff Assistant after graduating from Liberty University School of Law this past May. Kristin earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Middle Tennessee State University, graduating in May 2006. During her time in Law School, Kristin clerked at the Liberty Center for Law and Policy, in Lynchburg, VA, from January 2009 until May 2009. During that time she primarily worked on social conservative issues, such as pro-life and traditional marriage cases. She also worked for the Wilson County District Attorney’s office in Lebanon, TN in 2007. Kristin gained congressional experience in 2005 when she interned for Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist in Nashville, TN.
“It is an honor to be working as a Congressional staffer in Washington D.C., especially during this time in our nation’s history,” said Kristin Kilgore. “Even though I’m not working for a representative of Tennessee, I feel like I am working to defend the values and traditions that are important to Tennesseans, and more specifically, those who live in my hometown of Mt. Juliet.”
Congressman Aderholt’s 4th Congressional District is about 130 miles south of Mt. Juliet.
