Liberty University School of Law welcomes David C. Gibbs, III, General Counsel for the Christian Law Association (CLA), as the next speaker for the 2006-07 Speakers’ Forum. Mr. Gibbs also serves as Managing Partner for Gibbs Law Firm, P.A. located in Seminole, Florida. The presentation will start at 2:15 P.M. on Wednesday, February 21, and will be held in the Student Services Center at the law school. The law school welcomes members of the university and legal community to Speakers’ Forum events.
Mr. Gibbs was one of the attorneys who represented Terri Schiavo in the controversial case that received national attention. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, numerous federal courts, and state bars in Florida, Minnesota, Colorado, North Dakota, District of Columbia, Ohio, and Texas. He hosts a daily radio program, “The Legal Alert,” and is a frequent guest on several national radio and television programs.
He earned his Juris Doctorate from Duke University School of Law and his Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University. He and his wife, Carin, have four children and reside in Seminole, Florida.
