Liberty University School of Law Associate Professor Basyle Tchividjian is quoted in a June 22, 2013, MSN.com news article about the devastating atrocity of child abuse suffered by missionary kids (MKs). Tchividjian is cited for his research and investigatory efforts through the organization Godly Response to Abuse in the Christian Environment (GRACE), of which he is a founding member and now serves as executive director. GRACE has been hired by New Tribes Mission to investigate claims of sexual abuse reported by MKs. In the 1990s Tchividjian was a criminal prosecutor in Florida and was responsible for the prosecution of hundreds of cases involving child sexual abuse. Through his efforts, the sexual crimes division of the Office of State Attorney was created. Tchividjian is a grandson of the Rev. Billy Graham.
