Liberty University School of Law
A Liberty University School of Law professor continues to grow as a voice in tax and legal services.
Professor Timothy M. Todd was recently named a contributor to Forbes, and will submit articles regarding taxes, tax planning, and tax cases on Forbes.com.
Todd, a lawyer and certified public accountant, teaches tax, business, and transactional law courses at Liberty. Todd holds a master’s degree in accounting, and formerly clerked for the U.S. Court of Federal Claims in Washington, DC. He has written on a broad array of tax and transactional matters.
Recently, Todd has been quoted in Bloomberg, Bloomberg BNA Daily Tax Report, Accounting Today, Tax Notes, Tax Notes Today, Business News Daily, and MainStreet.com. Additionally, he was acknowledged in a U.S. Tax Court opinion after submitting an amicus brief in a groundbreaking case regarding the taxation of human egg donor income. He also serves on the editorial board of Business Tax Quarterly, a publication of the ABA Section of Business Law Taxation Committee.
“I’m excited about the opportunity,” Todd said. “We are striving for excellence in tax and business law here at Liberty Law. I tell my students that ‘tax is everywhere,’ and this opportunity allows me to share that message with a broader audience.”
