Dr. Ted Baehr, Founder and Publisher of Movieguide and Chairman of the Christian Film & Television Commission, as well as a noted critic, educator, lecturer, and media pundit, will be speaking at Liberty University School of Law on Monday, November 30, at 2:00 p.m. in the Supreme Courtroom. Liberty University School of Law offers a for-credit externship for law students interested in media and entertainment with Christian Film & Television Commission.
Dr. Baehr is a prolific author who has been featured in major newspapers and magazines throughout the United States. Dr. Baehr graduated summa cum laude in Comparative Literature from Dartmouth College, attended Cambridge University, the University of Bordeaux & Toulouse, and the University of Munich, graduated with a Juris Doctorate from New York University School of Law, finished his theological studies at the Institute of Theology at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, and received a Doctor of Humanities from Belhaven College.
Additionally, Dr. Baehr has written several books including Amazing Grace of Freedom, The Culture-Wise Family, Narnia Beckons, So You Want To Be In Pictures?, Frodo & Harry: Understanding Visual Media and Its Impact on Our Lives, and The Christian Family Guide to Movies & Video Vol. I & II.
