The law school hosted a seven-member site evaluation team from the American Bar Association (ABA) from September 18 to 21, 2005. Such a visit by a team of experienced law school evaluators is the first formal step in the process of acquiring provisional approval by the ABA. The site team is charged with the task of making findings regarding all aspects of the law school program. Its findings will be contained in an official report that the law school will receive in approximately 90 days, and to which the law school has opportunity to respond.

Following submission of the final formal report, the report and the law school’s application for ABA approval will be set for review by the Accreditation Committee.  At that time, a recommendation will be made to the ABA’s Council of the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar.  The Council will then address the law school’s application.

The three-day site inspection was a helpful time of internal analysis by the law school in its progress toward ABA approval.  We look forward to receiving the formal site team report.
