Biography
Laura Moody joined Liberty Law in August of 2020 as the Director of Academic Success and an adjunct professor. Prior to joining Liberty Law, she worked for over 20 years in state and federal government practice, both in the Michigan Attorney General’s Office and the United States Attorney’s Office. During that time, she had the opportunity to work with several state task forces and commissions dedicated to helping victims of crime and improving law enforcement, including being appointed by Michigan Governor Rick Snyder to the Criminal Justice Policy Commission. Prior to entering government practice, she had the honor of serving as a Michigan Supreme Court Commissioner, a Michigan Court of Appeals staff attorney, and a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Barbara K. Hackett, United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan.
