For the fifth consecutive year, Liberty University School of Law hosted the TeenPact Judicial Program. This intense program, which started earlier last week, June 24, continued through Friday, June 29, offered instruction to highly motivated and intelligent high school students interested in the study of law.
Students from all over the country visited Liberty to engage in this hands-on training program which provided interactive learning opportunities led by Liberty law professors and Liberty Counsel practicing attorneys. Areas of teaching included Foundations of Law, Negotiations, Property, Civil Procedure, Constitutional Law, Torts, Oral Advocacy, and legal writing. Throughout the week, students prepared a brief and competed in the climactic moot court competition where they argued a case before a panel of judges.
Liberty University School of Law also offers The New Generation – TeenPact Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded annually to select TeenPact Judicial students who successfully complete the TeenPact Judicial program, and meet additional requirements in the law school admissions process.
“The students who are trained at TeenPact are energetic, bright, and eager to become world changers in the fields of law and government,” said Mathew Staver, Dean and Professor of Law at Liberty University School of Law.
