For the second time this academic year, Liberty University School of Law Professor Rodney Chrisman's research on the limited liability company (LLC) has been cited in a major financial publication.

A recent Wall Street Journal article cites Chrisman's work on LLCs in describing how the number of LLCs has been on the rise since the 1990’s. That article mentions Liberty University School of Law, though Chrisman is not mentioned by name.

A fall 2013 article in The Economist also mentioned Chrisman’s “widely cited” research, crediting him and the law school by name.

Chrisman said he appreciated that major publications are taking notice of the quality work coming out of Liberty University School of Law.

“It is an honor for me, and LUSOL, to be cited in these publications.  Further, it demonstrates to the world that we are trying to do serious work here that they can and should respect,” Chrisman said.
