Graduation weekend will be here soon! To help you prepare for participating in Commencement here is a list of things you’ll need to get done this spring!
January – March 2025
- Apply to Graduate and RSVP
- Summer 2024 / Fall 2024 graduates – You should have submitted your degree completion application in ASIST already. You likely have your diploma in hand (congratulations!). Please confirm your intent to attend our ceremonies by submitting the Commencement RSVP form.
- Spring 2025 graduates – Please make sure to submit your degree completion application by the March 23rd deadline. This application tracks your degree progress and serves as your application to attend Commencement. After logging into your ASIST account you can access the application by following these links; Student > Student Records > Submit Degree/Certificate Completion Application
- Upon submission, this application is sent directly to your Academic Evaluator within the Registrar’s office. They’ll review your application and reach out to you within a few business days to discuss your remaining degree requirements.
- After submitting your application and receiving a follow-up from your Evaluator please confirm your intent to attend Commencement by submitting the Commencement RSVP form by March 23rd.
- Summer 2025 graduates – If you are completing your degree over the summer 2025 semester please email Commencement@liberty.edu to discuss your eligibility to attend the ceremonies in May.
- Purchase Regalia
- Please purchase your Liberty cap/gown online through Oak Hall here.
- Please see the deadlines below for ordering your cap/gown:
- Custom Doctoral Regalia Purchases (to be kept after Commencement) – February 23rd, 2025
- All standard regalia orders & rental Doctoral regalia – April 6th, 2025
- Doctoral regalia rentals will not begin shipping until April

- Purchase Regalia – Make sure to order your graduation regalia from Oak Hall here by the April 6th deadline (please note the regalia order deadlines listed above)!

May 2025
- Receive your Reader card in the mail. If you submitted your degree completion application and RSVP’d “yes” to attend, then you should receive a Commencement reader card in the mail in late April/early May. The reader card will be marked with your name and degree on the front. Please fill out the information on the back of your card and bring it with you to your degree presentation ceremony.
- If you do not receive a reader card or if a correction needs to be made on your card please visit the Commencement Welcome Fair!
