The Most Impactful Ministry Fair of 2021

Leaders and Church organizations are coming to connect with Liberty students. This is a chance for students to hear about job opportunities and internships available.

Divinity students are encouraged to attend to take the first step in their career.

The Ministry Career events are two events over two days. The first day is the annual ministry career dinner created to give more opportunities to students and organizations looking for full time work. The second event is the traditional career fair aimed to network with a larger group of potential employers.

The dinner takes place Monday, October 25th from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. in the Montview Alumni Ballroom on the 3rd floor. To attend the event students must have their resume on their handshake profile and dress professionally. To register for the Dinner click here.

Getting Prepared

In the weeks prior to the fair both Career Services and the school of divinity staff help give students tools and tips to prepare. Here’s what John Armstrong the Director of Experiential Learning in the School of Divinity advised to students who are nervous about finding the right ministry.

“The fair isn’t a marriage and students aren’t looking for a spouse (the one perfect ministry). They are encouraged to talk with and book interviews with as many ministries as possible and are looking for a ministry they resonate with that can train them in their major.” – John Armstrong.

The opportunities for jobs and internships doesn’t stop the day of the fair though.

“Many ministries will stay a few extra days to do in depth interviews with students.  So, students should also prepare to meet with ministries on Wednesday through Friday after the fair.” – John Armstrong.

Meeting with your Career Coach can help you feel more prepare and ease the nerves leading up to the day of the event.
