The Easiest Ways to Find a Nursing Jobs in 2021
Employers and talent acquisition personnel are coming to network with Liberty students. This is a chance for students to hear about job opportunities and supportive residency programs available. This is a great way to speak specifically to organizations you are interested in and getting your questions answered.
This is the perfect first step to making connects towards your first job.
It is a great opportunity for all nursing students to network, however it is targeted for seniors. For seniors it’s good for job opportunities, for juniors it’s a great opportunity to network for externship opportunities, and for sophomores it’s good to talk for CNA opportunities.
Reminder: Nursing Students are REQUIRED to wear full LUSON Clinical Scrub Uniform to attend.
The fair takes place on Tuesday, September 14th from 3-6 p.m. It will be located in the Montview Alumni Ballroom. To register for the event, click here. Those who pre-register by September 14th – 8 a.m. will receive certain perks.

- View all employers in attendance
- See the opportunities/positions they are hiring for
- Expedite the check in process on day of
- Be given a pre-printed name tag for the event
Getting Prepared
Lavonne’s advice as a coach is to have an elevator speech and resume ready for the event. The elevator speech should include your name, when your graduating, your degree, why you are interested in the organization/connection to the organization, and specific premade questions.

- Review your elevator speech
- Research the employers and create questions to ask
- Attend free upcoming workshops
