Come See the Last Virtual Career Fair of 2021
The All Majors Virtual Career Fair has representatives from a variety of industries. The virtual setting is accommodating for residential and online students as well as alumni from all majors. The wide variety of employers attending allows for opportunities for almost all majors.
The fair takes place on Tuesday, November 9th from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The event will be conducted virtually through Handshake.
Meeting with employers can be done two ways. Group and a 1:1 session. Appointments with employers must be scheduled before the event and spots fill up quickly, make sure to secure your spot.

Getting Prepared
The appointments for the virtual fair will be broken into group and 1:1 sessions. Group will focus more on hearing from the employer themselves. The 1:1 sessions is for briefly meet with employers.
“Those will involve giving your elevator pitch, introducing yourself, hearing a little about the employer, and having the opportunity to give them your resume.” – Abigail Ramin.
To prepare for these virtual session’s students are encouraged to meet with their career coach and conduct a virtual mock interview. Coaches can help check for proper attire, lighting, non-verbal cues, and fine tune an elevator speech which will be one of the most used tools during the event.
Abigail advises that after the event students should connect with employers they meet.

- Meet with their Career Coach
- Submit their resume for review
- Craft their elevator pitch
- Research the employers and create questions to ask
- Attend free upcoming workshops
