Learning isn’t put on hold during the summer! This is what one of our students has to say about his summer internship:
"Greetings, my name is Micah Velarde, and this summer, I am interning at the United States Naval Academy Museum as an education specialist assistant. I work on all sorts of projects, ranging from artifact rehousing to student outreach. My largest project is writing a new tour script for all the tour guides to learn from. I assist in teaching classes and assist students in research, as the museum houses over 63,000 artifacts that students at the Naval Academy use for their research projects. Every day is a new challenge, which is one of my favorite parts of the job."
Keep up the great work, Micah!
