Biography

Originally from Culpeper, Virginia, Dr. Thornhill transferred to Liberty University to complete a B.S. degree in Religion. He began working at the University in 2004 while also working on an M.A.R., and eventually completed a Ph.D. in Theology and Apologetics through the Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Thornhill teaches courses in New Testament Greek, Apologetics, and Theology.
 
Dr. Thornhill and his wife Caroline have one son and two daughters. In his spare time, Dr. Thornhill enjoys following college sports and NFL football, reading, rock climbing, and playing guitar and banjo.
