The Baccalaureate service is a traditional service held each year during the Commencement weekend that serves as a demonstration of Liberty's Christian commitment to the Great Commission and also the Great Commandment. The graduates will not process for this service but are instead encouraged to be seated with their family and friends.
Graduates may be dressed in their Commencement regalia for the Baccalaureate Service, but this is not required. Business casual dress is preferred for guests that attend this service.
Child care for this event will be provided free of charge, for children ages five and under, at Thomas Road Baptist Church in the Early Learning Center. Signs will be posted at the church to direct you to the child care room locations. This will open at 5:00 p.m. and will close at 8:45 p.m.
Handicap parking will be available at the Vines Center in the Furnace lot directly across from the Vines Center. You must have handicap parking credentials in order to park in this lot.
Sign Language interpreters will be available at the bottom of section 116 in the Vines Center. If a guest needs to sit in this section, enough seating will be provided for their family members to sit with them. For questions or to be directed to this section, please locate a staff member that will be able to direct any guests that need to be seated in this area.
