At LU Send, we believe students are called not only to see the world, but to engage it with purpose. Go Trips are strategically designed, Christ-centered missional opportunities to serve and experience different cultures and participate in God’s work around the world. Through intentional partnerships, spiritual formation, and practical ministry, students are challenged to step outside of their comfort zone, use their gifts to serve, and grow in their understanding of what it means to live our faith beyond the classroom.

Getting Started
Step 1: Explore GO Trips
Browse current Go Trip opportunities to learn about destinations, ministry focus, travel dates, estimated costs, and trip leaders. When you are ready, create your profile in VIA-TRM and select the program that is right for you.
Step 2: Submit Your Application
Claim your LU Send VIA-TRM account and submit your application. Be sure to apply early, as space may be limited, and deadlines vary by trip.
Step 3: Application Review
Your application will be reviewed by the LU Send team to confirm eligibility and trip fit. We will contact you with the next steps once your application is reviewed and complete.
Step 4: Confirm Your Participation
Once you are conditionally approved, you will confirm your participation and receive instructions to complete the remaining requirements.
Step 5: Prepare for Your GO Trip Experience
Complete your pre-departure requirements, including required forms, training, and team meetings. LU Send will guide you through each step as you prepare for your GO Trip.
