Job shadowing offers a focused and immersive experience within a short timeframe. Shadowing offers a look into the day-to-day activities, gaining insight into the intricacies of a role, responsibilities, and workplace dynamics. Job shadowing also allows you to explore multiple professions or industries within a short period giving you a valuable tool for career exploration, skill development, and networking.

Micro-internships provide a tremendous opportunity to explore different career paths and work on interesting assignments while demonstrating your abilities to potential employers. You also will build your professional portfolio and network! Micro-internships are often just a few weeks or a month-long, allowing you to do several internships in one semester. Most are virtual so you can do them while you are in school!
