Kent Bass
Career Coach, SOBS
Kent holds a B.S. in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism with a concentration in Recreation Management from the University of Illinois, as well as an M.A. in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He enjoys playing golf, watching his beloved St. Louis Cardinals, reading, and spending time with his wife and four kids.

Biography
Prior to joining the Career Services team, Kent served as a counseling ministry director and then a counseling pastor. During his time as a counselor and pastor, he developed a church-based counseling ministry, created a lay counseling training program, led a team of counselors, and provided counseling and discipleship-related training materials for elders, deacons, and lay leaders. Additionally, Kent has experience as a sports camp director and as a basketball and baseball coach.
