Delta Mu Delta Induction Information
Delta Mu Delta was formed in 1913 to honor students who have demonstrated superior academic performance in ACBSP accredited business programs. The Liberty University chapter was established in 2014. The Liberty University chapter will provide charitable contributions to numerous organizations, such as the Jubilee Family Development Center, Interfaith Outreach Association, Christian Service Mission, WorldHelp, No Barriers USA, and Freedom 4/24. In addition, the chapter will be sponsoring scholarly events and activities that are available to residential and online students.
Membership Criteria
In order to join:
- You must be a residential or online junior, senior, or graduate student.
- You must have a declared major in the School of Business.
- Your overall GPA must be in the top 20% of the School of Business students.
Juniors are required to maintain their level of academic scholarship and characteristics that first earned them this prestigious honor.
Induction Process
Juniors, seniors, and graduate students who are eligible to join Delta Mu Delta may do so for $105. Inductees will receive a certificate as well as other membership materials. The School of Business provides honor cords, so those should not be purchased during the application process.
In order to join, please complete the following:
As a qualifying invitee, your name has been sent to the national office along with your Liberty email address. Delta Mu Delta will only use this information to verify your qualifications for becoming a member of the honor society. In order to join, please complete the membership application via this link (Join Delta Mu Delta). You will then follow the online instructions for becoming a member. When completing the information, make sure to:
- Choose ‘Liberty University’ when asked the campus name
- To use your Liberty University email address as your ‘Invite ID’
Induction Ceremony
The 2025 induction ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 8 at 8 a.m. in the School of Business auditorium (SOBUSI 1000). There will be a complimentary breakfast in the School of Business Lobby starting at 7:30 a.m. The induction ceremony is not required for membership. However, it is an event to celebrate member’s academic achievements, so attendance is encouraged. Business casual dress is recommended.
