Biography

Dr. Ehrhorn is an Associate Professor of Finance, teaching both residential and online courses in Corporate Finance, Advanced Financial Management, Investments, Real Estate Finance & Investment, and Personal Finance. He serves as faculty sponsor for the Liberty Finance Club (formerly LUFMA, the Liberty Chapter of the Financial Management Association) and the Student Asset Management Fund (SAM).

He earned a B.S. in Ocean Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, an MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Ph.D. in Financial Management from Northcentral University. His professional background includes active duty and reserve service in the U.S. Coast Guard, consulting with KPMG Peat Marwick, executive leadership and ownership in electronics manufacturing, and work as a mortgage loan officer.

With over 40 years of diverse business experience, Dr. Ehrhorn brings a practical, real-world perspective to his teaching. He and his wife have four children and five grandchildren.
