Mark Merry
Biography
Dr. Merry received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Kent State University (Ohio). There he studied under Dr. Johnny Baker and his research focus was on parallel algorithms and computational geometry. Upon earning his Ph.D. He has served as a professor at Heidelberg College, Tiffin University (Ohio) and Campbell University (North Carolina). His teaching at Campbell University also included 5 years of teaching at Tunku Abdul Rahman College in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Dr. Merry is the Team Advisor for Liberty’s computer programming team which competes every year in the International Collegiate Programming Contest.
His research of late has focused on the integrity of the presidential and primary voting systems in the political process. This work has been featured on Fox News, Rachel Maddow and Al Jazeera as well as numerous local news shows.
Dr. Merry’s academic interests include software engineering, programming for mobile devices, client-server programming, and parallel algorithms.
