Biography

Bob Good (’88) was elected to Congress in 2020 and served 4 years as the U.S. Representative for Virginia’s 5^th District. He was the elected chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, widely considered the most conservative and most influential Republican caucus in the House. Good served 4 years on the House Budget Committee and on the Education & Workforce Committee, including 2 years as the Chairman of the Health, Employment, Labor & Pensions (HELP) Subcommittee. Before entering public service, he served as the Executive Director of the Flames Club & Senior Associate Athletics Director for Development at Liberty from 2005-2020. Good began his professional career at CitiFinancial, where he worked for 17 years in various leadership positions for the Fortune 100 lending institution. He graduated from Liberty in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in finance and earned his Master of Business Administration from Liberty in 2010.
