Biography
Beth began her career in the public sector working with a CPA firm providing accounting and tax services. She transitioned into a role with a not-for-profit company where she was instrumental in bringing technology into the organization. Beth then moved into the private sector holding various roles including, CFO, VP of Operations and President of a healthcare technology firm. During her tenure with the technology company, Beth successfully completed multiple acquisitions working with all facets of the process from negotiation to successful onboarding. Working with her team, Beth successfully positioned the technology company, located, and completed the sale to an international firm. When teaching, she draws from her business experience and integrates this knowledge to provide students with both theory and application.
Beth is a licensed CPA in the state of Virginia. She continues to consult with local businesses and individuals helping with accounting and business planning needs.
