George Young
Biography
Dr. George Young is a Professor at Liberty University since 2004 and he teaches the Capstone School of Business course, Entrepreneurship and Economics courses. While earning his Ph.D. at Michigan State University, he team taught wiht Dr. Jack Allen in the Eli Broad Business School MBA program for six years. At Michigan State University he was awarded the USDA National Needs Fellowship and Cargill/Excel Meat Fellowship.
His current research interests are in completing a journal article late 2025 titled A Geospatial Analysis: Adoption of Food Safety Technologies. Also, he is working on using GIS data methodologies to guide student Entrepreneurs in their quest to increase market penetration rates, paper is forthcoming. In addition, he was an adjunct professor at Arizona State University teaching undergraduate Food Marketing courses for two years.
Dr. Young is dedicated to Liberty University residential students where he is a faculty representative for various student clubs. He also is dedicated to training the next generation of doers, thinkers, and Graduate Students in using the 800-year methodology in critically thinking and writing: Theory>Research>Analysis.
