Biography
With over 25 years of experience in Information Technology education, Professor Angela Holt has dedicated her career to empowering students and professionals with the digital skills needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving world. She began her career with the Virginia Department of Transportation, where she served as a Helpdesk Coordinator and later advanced to the role of IT Trainer.
Her passion for teaching led her to the local Community College, where she spent 7 years instructing students in a wide range of IT topics while gaining experience with Microsoft software applications. In addition to her application software experience, Professor Holt has a background in software programming—particularly Java and HTML—and has operated her own web design/consultant business, combining creativity with technical competence.
Throughout her career, she has obtained multiple certifications. Inspired by her love of teaching, she makes complex software concepts easy to understand for learners of all levels.
