ROTC Military Leadership – Army Minor

Military Leadership – Army Residential Minor

Get the foundation you need for Army leadership through experiential learning and pivotal lessons gained through America’s military history. Through the Military Leadership – Army Minor at Liberty University, you’ll learn direct and organizational leadership and problem-solving. After graduating, you will be prepared to perform as a platoon leader — a senior leader for units with approximately 30-40 personnel.

The Military Leadership – Army Minor is offered through ROTC, and is only available for residential undergraduate students contracted into the Army ROTC program. Acceptance into the Army ROTC program and minor is based on your academic performance, athleticism, and overall fitness, as well as leadership performance and potential.

Participation in the minor includes physical training twice a week and a weekly leadership lab.

Students participating in Army ROTC receive Army equipment and uniforms. Our classroom is set up for group-centric, adult learning teaching methods. Leadership labs are held at Hydaway Outdoor Recreation Center.
